To kick off the release of Poetry in Motion I had the privilege to sit down and chop it up with a childhood friend —Keithen “Kemo” Paul, Sr.—with whom I grew up with in Port Arthur, Texas.
In this inaugural segment, Kemo, who now resides in Houston, reflects on his childhood experiences, and discusses the obstacles and challenges of youth he faced before recreating himself into a multi-talented entrepreneur and entertainer.
Our conversation is personal and candid. Kemo also spits some knowledge in a style all his own.
He didn’t bring it up during our sit-down, but Kemo is also known for his culinary skills, particularly his smoked meats. Connect with him and his company—Mogada’s—on social media and spread the love around!
So, instead of being a social media friend, why not be a real friend and show it with action?

There are enough examples of selfishness in the world, especially on social media. Selflessness requires a self-sacrificing spirit. Kemo gave his time and energy to make the Poetry in Motion launch a success by not only sitting down with me but by also helping me interview several other guests. I’ve got mad respect and love for this brother!
